We Are Still Here For You
In line with Government instructions and to keep both our clients and staff safe during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, MEWSo’s offices in Islington and Westminster are closed.
However, we are still open. Our top priority remains to continue to help the most vulnerable BAME women in our communities, especially those feeling the isolating effects of COVID-19.
Several of MEWSo’s services are now available online or over the telephone.

Information About Our Services:
A number of our services are still available. To register, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. The following services have been adapted for online use:
Our Women in Work project, will be one-to-one chats with our facilitator over the phone. She will equip you with valuable skills and information encouraging you to continue to apply for jobs during this period when so many ‘key’ services and organisations are taking on staff.
Mindfulness, Breathe Work and Meditation Classes, at Derry Hall, Westminster, have been moved online to two-hour sessions on Zoom, the video conferencing tool that can be used via a computer or a mobile phone app.
LGBT Matters' workshops are postponed but there will be WhatsApp group chats for clients & facilitators.
Zumba at Elizabeth House Community Centre in Holloway have been suspended but we will connect with clients via a WhatsApp group as we have put the Zumba classes online via Zoom.
In order to tackle isolation during this time, MEWSo is offering an over the phone Befriending Service to any woman who might be overwhelmed with feelings of loneliness. Our befrienders can speak a number of different languages. If you know of anyone who could benefit from such a service, or if you are interested in volunteering with us, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Any other enquiries, please call 07579 801 366 or email: email@example.com.
If you would like more information about our campaign, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you would like to support our cause, please consider donating or look at our vacancy page for volunteering options.
