We Are Still Here For You
In line with Government instructions and to keep both our clients and staff safe during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, MEWSo’s offices in Islington and Westminster are closed.
However, we are still open. Our top priority remains to continue to help the most vulnerable BAME women in our communities, especially those feeling the isolating effects of COVID-19.

Information About Our Services:
A number of our services are still available. To register, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. The following services have been adapted for online use:
Our Women in Work project, will be one-to-one chats with our facilitator over the phone. She will equip you with valuable skills and information encouraging you to continue to apply for jobs during this period when so many ‘key’ services and organisations are taking on staff.
NEW LBTQ+ workshops are online using Zoom, with WhatsApp group chats for clients & facilitators. For this workshop, contact Sodabeh Gashtasebi on 07579 801 365 or email: for more information.
NEW Arabic Zumba is also online via Zoom and clients can connect via a WhatsApp group. Arabic Zumba uses a mixture of Arabic music and music from other cultures, such as Turkish or Persian, with the physical exercise of dance. It's suitable for women of all abilities; you decide how energetic you want to be when you take part.
In order to tackle isolation during this time, MEWSo is offering an over the phone Befriending Service to any woman who might be overwhelmed with feelings of loneliness. Our befrienders can speak a number of different languages. If you know of anyone who could benefit from such a service, or if you are interested in volunteering with us, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Any other enquiries, please call 07579 801 366 or email: email@example.com.
