Her Story

Susie has a law degree and spent 10 years working in the legal sector. As well as advising women experiencing domestic abuse and welfare issues, she is currently studying for a Masters in International Commercial Law.

She is a passionate believer in women's rights and an eager supporter in the rights of the Kurdish people. She has been involved in politics for the past three years and even stood as a Local Authority Councillor in the May 2022 elections.

Susie is fluent in Kurdish, Dari and Farsi, as well as English.
